‘Camp Rock 3′ is officially happening, with the Jonas Brothers returning and a fresh batch of campers, landing on Disney Channel on Thursday, 13 August 2026 and Disney+ the next day.
The threequel hits Disney+ on Friday, 14 August 2026, a day after its Disney Channel premiere, as reported by Deadline.
It picks up years after the originals, leaning on nostalgia for the fans who grew up with the first two films while introducing a whole new camp crew.
Who is in the ‘Camp Rock 3’ cast
The big draw is the Jonas Brothers, all three of them. Joe Jonas returns as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas is back as Nate Gray and Kevin Jonas reprises Jason Gray, reuniting Connect 3 on screen.
Maria Canals-Barrera also returns as Connie Torres, Mitchie’s mom from the first films.
The new campers bring the fresh blood. The line-up includes Liamani Segura as Sage and Hudson Stone as her brother Desi, Malachi Barton as camp bad boy Fletch, Lumi Pollack as cello prodigy Rosie, Casey Trotter as drummer Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean as influencer Madison.
Sherry Cola joins as Lark.
One bit of casting trivia has fans talking: Hudson Stone is the teenage son of celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and reports suggest the Camp Rock 3 gig comes with a tidy paycheque, marking a notable early break for the youngster in the Disney machine.
What Camp Rock 3 is about
The plot keeps it simple and very on-brand. Connect 3 lose their opening act ahead of a big reunion tour, so the band heads back to Camp Rock to find the next big thing.
Campers then compete for the chance to open for their favourite group, and the usual drama follows.
Expect tensions, surprise alliances, a few romances and plenty of musical numbers, because this is still Camp Rock at its core.
Veronica Rodriguez is directing, steering the next generation through the same camp that launched Shane, Mitchie and the rest into Disney Channel history.
The one big ‘Camp Rock 3’ change
There is one notable absence. Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres across the first two films, is not starring this time. Instead she has stepped behind the camera as an executive producer, so her fingerprints are still on the project even if Mitchie does not take centre stage.
With the premiere set for August, expect a trailer, a soundtrack rollout and the full Jonas Brothers press tour to ramp up over the coming weeks.
For anyone who spent their teens belting Camp Rock songs, this is the nostalgia hit of the year, and it is almost here.
