A large crowd of onlookers swarmed outside a Shoprite supermarket in central Polokwane, to witness a man’s daring attempt to take his own life after he had allegedly shot his girlfriend and child, on Thursday.

The dramatic scenes that took place on Market Street were caught on camera by passers-by who, on their way in and around the shopping district, were gob-smacked by the sight of a manly figure standing on the edge of the building’s roof.
Details around the incident have not yet been confirmed by law enforcement authorities in Polokwane. However, according to eyewitness accounts, the man had resorted to attempting a deathly jump off the Shoprite building after he had allegedly shot his girlfriend and child.
It’s said that the man, whose identity remains unknown, was blinded by rage after he had learned of his girlfriend’s alleged infidelity. His solution? Well, the allegations are that he tried to ‘off’ his partner and child.
