The passing of Shona Ferguson is still something many people are struggling to come to terms with.
The veteran actor and self-made filmmaker lost his life after a week-long battle with a severe case of COVID-19. This is contrary to reports made by Sunday World that the actor’s death was caused by a heart-related illness.

In a statement, the Ferguson family confirmed that as hard as it is, the process to lay the Rockville actor to rest has begun.
Ferguson will be escorted to his final resting place on Wednesday, in a private funeral that is only open to immediate family members and close friends.
At this time, the family statement read, details of Ferguson’s memorial service “will be communicated at a later stage once all the necessary arrangements have been made.”
“We would like to thank our friends and the public at large for the kind words of comfort during this difficult period,” the family concluded.

For the most part, Ferguson’s wife and longtime business partner Connie, has kept away from social media. What was once a couple that inspired millions through motivational content posted daily on their respective social media pages, has ended in a heartbreaking and deafening silence.
Shortly after Ferguson’s death was confirmed, Connie penned this heartfelt message to her husband who she’s been married to for almost 20 years.
Perhaps, the most gut-wrenching part of the tribute was when the actress revealed that the couple had been planning on ways to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in November.
