Eastern Cape
The day in the eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be partly cloudy and warm, turning cloudy in the east with isolated showers and rain. Coastal winds will be light to moderate south-westerly.
The western half of the Eastern Cape will experience partly cloudy and hot conditions, but it will be warm to cool in places along the coast. Coastal winds will be moderate westerly, shifting to light north-westerly in the afternoon.
Free State
The province will see partly cloudy skies, with temperatures ranging from warm to hot. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, except in the western parts.
Gauteng
Gauteng will have partly cloudy and warm weather with scattered showers and thundershowers. The expected UVB sunburn index is high.
KwaZulu-Natal
KwaZulu-Natal is forecasted to be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the west. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh north-easterly. The UVB sunburn index is high.
Limpopo
Limpopo will experience very hot temperatures in the Lowveld and Western Bushveld. The region will be partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers over the central and southern parts but scattered in the extreme south.
Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga will be partly cloudy and warm, with scattered afternoon thundershowers, but conditions will be isolated in the Lowveld, where it will be hot to very hot.
North West
The North West will have partly cloudy and warm to hot weather, with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Northern Cape
The Northern Cape will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, becoming fine later in the day. Coastal winds will be light and variable.
Western Cape
The Western Cape will see cloudy conditions with light rain over the extreme southwestern parts in the morning, then turning fine and warm. However, it will be partly cloudy over the western parts in the morning and along the south coast from the evening. Conditions will be cool along the coast but hot over the Karoo.
Coastal winds will be light to moderate west to north-westerly, but fresh to strong along the south-west coast. The wind will turn south to south-westerly along the south coast in the afternoon and will be fresh to strong. The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.
