EA Sports has confirmed that legendary footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović will front the cover of FC 26 Ultimate Edition, due out later this year.

The reveal was accompanied by a promotional image loaded with symbolism that captures the essence of Ibrahimović’s storied football career.
The artwork, crafted to resemble a fan’s bedroom or nostalgic gamer setup, features Ibrahimović seated confidently on a bed, reading a book titled “Dare to Zlatan”.
This direct nod to his popular phrase points to a blend of introspection and bold confidence. He wears a tracksuit with the Swedish national team crest—a nod to his national identity.
Hanging on the wall is a framed PSG jersey bearing the name “IBRAHIMOVIĆ #10”. This jersey refers to his dominant stint at Paris Saint-Germain, where he became one of the club’s most prolific forwards.
Around it, medals and badges represent the many accolades and milestones of his career. Club symbols for LA Galaxy (USA), AC Milan (Italy), Ajax (Netherlands), and Malmö FF or the Swedish flag trace his path through international football.

What we know about ‘FC 26’ so far
The game, part of EA’s football series rebranded as FC, is expected to officially drop on 26 September 2025, based on previous years’ release trends.
Players will likely have the option to purchase two editions: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition. The latter typically includes early access, extra content for game modes like Ultimate Team, and in-game bonuses.
Early team-building tools like the Web and Companion App will also return, giving players the opportunity to assemble squads before launch day.
