Actress and entertainer Keke Palmer has taken legal action against her former partner, Darius Jackson, alleging physical abuse during their relationship, which spanned from June 2021 to October 2023.
Palmer’s request for a restraining order against Jackson was accompanied by security footage stills, purportedly showing incidents of abuse.
According to Palmer’s statement, the abuse extended beyond physical harm, involving emotional manipulation and control tactics often referred to as “love bombing.”
She describes Jackson as exhibiting a volatile and jealous disposition, particularly concerning the well-being of their eight-month-old son, Leo.
The latest alleged incident occurred on Sunday, 5 November 2023.

Palmer recounted Jackson forcibly entering her home, demanding to take their son to a football game, and reacting violently when she opposed.
This altercation reportedly culminated in a physical confrontation, leading Palmer to call the police and subsequently file for a restraining order.
In her petition, Palmer detailed another incident from February 2022, where Jackson’s aggressive behaviour escalated over a bikini photo of Palmer.
She described being choked and body-slammed by Jackson, culminating in a night of relentless verbal abuse and physical violence.
Palmer’s declaration to the court includes screenshots from her home security system, capturing both described incidents.
The judge’s decision on her petition remains pending.
