Drake confirmed a 2027 tour on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, telling a Canadian entertainment show that big shows are coming just hours before his new film FOMO premiered online.
The confirmation landed ahead of the FOMO livestream, as reported by Complex, and it is the first firm word on touring since he wrapped a run of European dates in 2025.
The film went up on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music at 21:00 ET on Tuesday (Wednesday, 16 September 2026, 03:00 SAST).
What Drake said about the 2027 tour
Drake did not hand over dates or cities, but he did not hedge either. Asked about what comes after the film, he pointed straight at a return to the road and at something larger than a standard run of arena stops.
“Obviously [a] tour is coming and there’s other things on the horizon. Some big shows.”
He then put a year on it, and threw in the kind of self-mythologising nickname run that has become part of the package. Drake framed the tour as a global reunion rather than a regional lap, which matters for audiences outside North America who have waited since 2025.
“I mean, of course, we’ll be out, you know, 2027 to see everybody again across the world. Hopefully, you’ll watch FOMO and we’ll see you on tour soon. You already know Big Six God, Big T-Rex, original nostalgia bosses here.”
Drake’s road history before the 2027 tour
His last North American tour was the It’s All a Blur Tour, which ran from July 2023 to April 2024 with J. Cole and 21 Savage along for the ride. Since then the touring has been shorter and further afield.
He took the Anita Max Win Tour to Australia in February 2025, then co-headlined Some Special Shows 4 U with PartyNextDoor across Europe from July to September 2025. Neither was a full world tour, which is why a 2027 run reads as the real return.
The tour talk also closes a loop that has been open all year. Drake spent much of 2026 teasing his Iceman album alongside hints about getting back on stage, and a dated confirmation turns that into something promoters can actually build a calendar around.
