Justin and Hailey Bieber have bought a $12 million New York condo in the West Village, confirmed on Monday, 7 July 2026, marking the couple’s first shared home in the city.
The purchase at 160 Leroy Street, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, gives the couple roughly 2,800 square feet inside a curved, concrete-and-glass tower and their first known property together in Manhattan.
Inside the Bieber New York condo
The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom home leans on sprawling floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Hudson River. A separate, enclosed chef’s kitchen anchors the layout, giving the couple a private cooking space away from the open living area.
The design favours light and river views over showy square footage.
The celebrity-loved building and its amenities
The tower was designed by hotelier Ian Schrager with architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, its 14 storeys inspired by Brazilian modernist Oscar Niemeyer. Residents get a landscaped courtyard, a 70-foot swimming pool, a yoga and Pilates studio, a steam room, a catering kitchen and a children’s playspace.
That children’s playspace is likely to draw attention given long-running speculation about the couple’s growing family.
The Biebers welcomed their first child in 2024, and a building geared toward young families hints at how they picture life in their new Manhattan base.
The West Village has become a magnet for A-list buyers who want low-key luxury over flashy penthouses.
The neighbourhood’s cobbled streets and celebrity neighbours make it one of Manhattan’s most sought-after pockets, and the Biebers’ move slots them into a building already known for famous residents.
Why the couple planted roots in Manhattan
The couple already hold property on the West Coast, so the condo reads as a bi-coastal move rather than a full relocation.
A New York foothold gives them a base close to the fashion and music worlds Hailey and Justin both work in, without giving up their California life.
At $12 million, the deal sits comfortably within the building’s upper tier without topping its priciest listings. For a couple whose combined ventures span music, beauty and fashion, the spend reads as a considered lifestyle buy rather than a headline-chasing splurge.
Hailey has spent the past year expanding her Rhode beauty brand, which drew a landmark sale that reshaped her business standing.
A New York base places her within reach of the industry events and partnerships that keep that venture growing.
What the move means for the Biebers
For now, neither Justin nor Hailey has spoken publicly about the purchase, leaving the paperwork to tell the story.
Whether the condo becomes a regular home or an occasional retreat, it marks the first address the couple can call theirs together in New York.
