‘MobLand’ season 2 lands on Paramount+ on Friday, 18 September 2026, with Tom Hardy back as fixer Harry Da Souza and 10 episodes dropping weekly until November.
As reported by TheWrap, the second season runs for 10 instalments, one a week, closing out with a finale on Friday, 20 November 2026.
Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren return alongside Hardy, keeping the Harrigan clan’s most dangerous players exactly where the audience left them.
What ‘MobLand’ season 2 has in store
For anyone who missed the first season when it arrived in early 2025, MobLand drops you into the London underworld, where the Harrigans run their empire and Harry Da Souza cleans up whatever mess the family makes.
Brosnan and Mirren play the couple at the top of that food chain.
Paramount+ says the Harrigans will struggle to hold a united front while rising rivals circle their fractured criminal empire.
Harry, the family’s street-smart fixer, has to walk a dangerous tightrope as tensions inside the household boil over, while the platform’s synopsis promises a fight for power where nobody gets shown any mercy.
The teaser trailer gives a taste of exactly how much Harry is carrying this time around.
Hardy’s fixer sounds like a man whose week has gone spectacularly sideways, and the line sets the temperature for everything the season is about to throw at him.
“This hasn’t exactly been a wonderful 24 hours for me, yeah? I’m under a lot of pressure,” Harry Da Souza says in the MobLand season 2 teaser.
The new names joining ‘MobLand’ season 2
Season two stacks the deck with new blood, including Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
That is a serious amount of British acting muscle for one crime family to survive.
Tom Hardy’s rocky patch behind the scenes
Things were not always this settled. In late May 2026, reports claimed Hardy would not return for a hypothetical third season after friction on set with executive producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios and others.
The noise around it was loud enough to have fans quietly panicking about the show’s future.
By late June 2026, Hardy had sat down in London with Butterworth and executive producer David Glasser, the air was cleared and his return was confirmed.
Butterworth serves as showrunner on the series, which was created by Ronan Bennett, so that reconciliation mattered more than most.
What happens next for ‘MobLand’ season 2
Mark the calendar: MobLand season 2 begins on Paramount+ on Friday, 18 September 2026, with a fresh episode every Friday until the November finale. A third season has not been ordered yet, so how hard this run hits will decide whether Harry gets called back in.
