Yeezy Season 01 marked Ye’s return to the runway on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, and the rapper had his children and wife Bianca Censori with him at the Los Angeles show.
According to Just Jared, all four of Ye’s children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, were at the show, which marked Yeezy’s relaunch after a four-year break. Bianca wore a low-cut jumpsuit to support her husband, while Kim Kardashian was not there and was in New York City that night.
What happened at the Yeezy Season 01 show in Los Angeles
The show took place at Droam 1, the new Yeezy flagship store at 4317 Beverly Boulevard, at 20:00 local time (06:00 SAST on Thursday, 5 November 2026), and it doubled as the store’s opening. It was streamed live on Kick.
Yeezy announced the show on Monday, 2 November 2026, two days beforehand and after a report in late October that Ye was planning a runway return. Invitations went to press and media outlets ahead of the night.
Models skipped the usual catwalk. They walked in circles around a large white hill, in looks that were mostly minimal and monochrome, while several unreleased Ye songs played over the soundtrack. The palette moved from nude and white into olive and black, and rapper Nettspend was among the models.
Who else was at the Yeezy Season 01 show
The guest list leaned heavily on hip-hop and streetwear, with 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, King Combs, Rich the Kid, ASAP Nast and designer Jerry Lorenzo among those named. The Clermont Twins, Quenlin Blackwell and Natalie Nunn were also in the crowd, along with a long list of other guests.
North, who debuted lip piercings at Paris Fashion Week, was among the family members who turned up for her father’s first full runway show in four years. Her brothers Saint and Psalm and her sister Chicago were there too.
What Yeezy Season 01 means for the brand
Season 01 is Yeezy’s first full runway show in four years. The brand soft-relaunched earlier this year with basic pieces on its own website, and it now also has a partnership with JD Sports, which stocks Yeezy slides and other footwear. The Yeezy 800 sneaker is due to go on sale this holiday season.
The name also restarts the count. Yeezy Season 1 first appeared in 2015, when Ye was working with Adidas, and a separate Yeezy line with Gap ended in 2022 when Ye terminated that contract after accusing the retailer of failing to meet its obligations.
Yeezy last staged a full runway show with Season 9 at Paris Fashion Week in October 2022. Adidas ended its partnership with Ye later that month after his antisemitic remarks, and he has since apologised publicly, including in a newspaper advertisement in January.
