Caster Semenya and her partner Violet Raseboya have every reason to be on Cloud Nine right now. The couple may not have explicitly stated it but recent posts on social media suggest that a baby Semenya is on the way.

The hardships that the athletic world champion has faced in the last year have not stopped her from living her life.
Caster Semenya has the mentality of a winner. Gatekeepers of her sport keep trying to box her into a place she does not belong and limit her success, and society still finds it hard to accept her.
This, however, has not discouraged her will to live and one of the greatest things to ever happen to her is Raseboya. It also appears that she has gifted Semenya with a gift greater than any gold medal she’s ever won.
Semenya took to social media on Friday to roll out a mystery reveal, suggesting that she is welcoming a baby.
Is it a boy or a girl?
The big question that has gnawed at us since the announcement is: Is it a boy or a girl?
Semenya hasn’t outrightly announced that she and Raseboya are having a baby but pictures speak a thousand words and we heard her loud and clear.
We had to put our Sherlock hat on to determine the meaning behind the mystery baby reveal. We aren’t the highest grade of weed in the dispensary but based on the clues dropped by Semenya, we are leaning towards a boy, for these reasons:
The first announcement post shows Semenya hands clutching on a white pair of baby Nike Cortez sneakers. This classic shoe may be unisex but it is predominantly worn by boys.
This post followed shortly after and it shows a blue Nike baby romper with the words “I Have Arrived” printed above the swoosh. In these kinds of baby reveals, blue often represents boy, while pink is for girls.
The third post, we believe, was an effort to throw a spanner in the reveal. It doesn’t hold that many concrete clues on the gender but it sure does confirm our suspicions that the couple is welcoming a new member to the family.
