Focalistic drew ire from social media for picking the wrong choice of words in responding to rap star Emtee.
Emtee sparks beef with Focalistic, Twitter reacts
The Roll Up rapper, using his record label’s Twitter account, quoted Focalistic’s self-boasting tweet with a taunting question, and, well… all hell broke loose.
Which street? https://t.co/dRsHrpOhr2

Fans from both sides of the fence were instantly drawn into a ‘tear’ of words, each camp defending its leader.

So Emtee is just going to let Focalistic dub himself as the street President? Ngabe ngibovu ubhozo kumanje😭😭😭😭

Fans were certainly not pleased with the tone of Focalistic’s response which, if properly analysed, suggested that he thought of himself as an artist with greater reach than Emtee.

Emtee later surfaced on Instagram Live to make his position clear, claiming that there was nothing untoward about the simple question he asked.

Focalistic also surfaced to douse fires, albeit rather sarcastically.
