Adam Sandler officiated Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden on Friday, 3 July 2026, the groom confirmed on his New Heights podcast on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
The couple married in front of more than 1 000 family and friends, with screens outside the venue lit up with the words “just married”, as reported by E! News.
Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney serenaded the newlyweds during the reception.
Taylor’s brother Austin Swift served as the bride’s man of honour, while Travis’s brother Jason Kelce handled best man duties. The bride and groom’s ceremony looks were both created by Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson for the day.

Kelce saved his warmest words for the man who married them, calling Sandler the best person on the planet and praising the way he handled the ceremony.
The comedian got ordained in the state of New York specifically for the job. Kelce said:
“He has been just the best person on this planet. For him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor, and the way he did it, in the very Sandman style, and giving us more than what we could’ve imagined at that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of our lives, it was absolutely insane man.”

Looking back, he said:
“It’s been so much fun, it was insane. It was a night we’ll never forget. Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up. From the vows to the seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening, and hearing that being relayed through everyone’s stories of that night, it was just so magical man, I wish it could have lasted longer than it did.”

We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions and we needed to have a private feel, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that and I can’t thank everybody enough, that showed up but helped put that show on.”
Two months on, the wedding climbed back into trending searches every time one of the couple revisited it, and Kelce’s weekly podcast became the place those details landed first.
