Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are reportedly searching for a private home together, with sources telling US media that the couple want “a place that’s just for them” as their relationship moves into a more serious phase.
Properties in Malibu, Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara are said to be among those under consideration, according to reports published this week by multiple celebrity outlets.
The pair first attracted public attention in late 2024 after being photographed together privately at a luxury hotel in Oxfordshire, England, followed by a trip to Paris.
Their public appearances have continued to mount, including at the Super Bowl in February 2026, after which Hamilton appeared to go public with the relationship by posting footage of them together in Tokyo on his Instagram account.
A “love nest” away from the public eye
Sources indicated that the couple are looking for a property that provides separation from both media attention and from Kardashian’s four children from her marriage to Ye (fka Kanye West).
The preference for Malibu and the surrounding area is consistent with Kardashian’s existing lifestyle in coastal Los Angeles, while Hamilton has maintained residences across multiple cities during his Formula 1 career.
Hamilton is said to have no plans to appear on Kardashian’s long-running reality television programme, preferring to keep the relationship away from cameras where possible.
Sources noted that Kardashian is expected to discuss the relationship on the show, as she has with previous partnerships, but that Hamilton’s participation would not extend to filming.
Hamilton’s profile beyond the track
The relationship has placed Hamilton firmly in the global celebrity news cycle in a way that differs from his previous public image, which has been built almost entirely around his seven Formula 1 world championships and his activism work.
His profile in South Africa has grown considerably over recent years as the sport’s audience in the country has expanded, making the Kardashian connection a story with crossover appeal beyond the traditional F1 fanbase.
