Mihlali Ndamase has gone public with allegations of harassment and stalking, saying she is concerned for her life and the wellbeing of her family.
In a statement shared on social media, the South African influencer and businesswoman described what she says has been months of unwanted attention from a man whose advances she previously rejected.
What Mihlali Ndamase alleges happened
Ndamase says the harassment has escalated into repeated surveillance, both in public and around her daily routine.
“I have personally witnessed him following me. He has appeared at my place of work without reason and shown up in spaces where I am parked or seated as though monitoring my movements,” she said.
She added:
“My privacy has been repeatedly violated. Members of my family have been approached in public and people have been paid to follow me and take photographs of me without my consent.”
Ndamase says she is seeking legal advice
Ndamase also raised concerns about false information circulating online, saying it has created additional harm.
“At the same time, false and damaging stories about my life have been circulated through blogs and online platforms. Some media publications repeated these allegations without verification,” she said.
“This has caused significant reputational harm and further endangered my safety by presenting fiction as fact,” she added.
News24 reported that she is now seeking legal counsel.
The alleged stalker’s online response
Moreover, the man Ndamase accused of stalking her has posted “cryptic” content on Instagram rather than issuing a detailed public response.
One of the posts included a quote:
“The person who walks away quietly usually makes the loudest effort.”

Ndamase has not outlined what legal steps will follow, but her statement signals a move toward formal action through legal channels. For now, the central facts in the public domain are her allegations of harassment and privacy violations, and the limited online reaction from the man she accuses.
