The songstress took to TikTok for a moment of vulnerability, where she crooned to the lyrics of the 2021 hit single.

On Asibe Happy, Faku sings about the trials and tribulations of a relationship. She speaks of external forces that try to break a couple’s bond and charges at her partner to endure the challenges with great fortitude.

Sonwabile (We are happy)
Siyathandana (We are in love)
Bazamile usohlukanisa (They tried to separate us)
Bohluleka (They didn't succeed)
Abaphansi bavumile (Our ancestors agree)
Ukuba sifanelene (That we are meant for each other)
Thina sobabini (You and I)
Masikunye, ndiyajabula, jabula (When we are together, I am happy, happy)

Lady Du tapped into Faku’s soul-jerking chords and, almost drawing from her real-life tribulations, sent social media into a raucous with this cover of Asibe Happy.

Andile Mxakaza blames marriage turmoil on ‘witchcraft’

Lady Du’s estranged husband, actor Andile Mxakaza, who’s been tipped as the reason for the marriage breakup, has continued on his ‘fight-back’ campaign.

First, the Isibaya actor denied that he and his wife were separated. Then, Mxakaza resurfaced with a wild theory for the turmoil in his relationship.

Lady Du had already insinuated his alleged infidelity with women who’ve attacked the songstress in the past as the reason behind her decision to walk away, but Mxakaza insists the failure of their marriage can be attribute to… witchcraft.
