In the midst of controversy involving her messy breakup with top-billing Andile Mpisane, it seems Sithelo Shozi used her creativity as a coping mechanism and, by the looks of it, a new single was birthed.
Sithelo Shozi resurfaces with new music
The transition Shozi underwent in such a short period is something fans hope to get from the influencer-turned-musician’s upcoming song titled Hell & Back.
Thus far, she’s only teased a snippet of the accompanying music video, which draws creative direction from her role as a mother of two children.
Fans, however, will have to allow room for disappointment since, by our analysis, Hell & Back promises to be the celebration of a new chapter in Shozi’s life, and not much of a reflection on what once was a perfect love story.
The instrumental alone, a pacey and hard-hitting set of drums and tribal pads, is an indication of Shozi’s intentions.
It seems, the 27-year-old is prepared to maximise on the engagement she’s garnered from her recent tribulations.

When is Shozi new single dropping?
Shozi’s teaser was not accompanied by any information on the song’s release date. Therefore, it seems fans will have to wait a while longer for the songstress to ramp up more anticipation with, perhaps, more teasers.
Swisher Post reached out to Shozi’s team for information on Hell & Back and a response had not been received at the time of publishing.
