‘Avengers: Doomsday’ promo art has given fans their clearest look yet at Kelsey Grammer’s Beast, months before Marvel’s ensemble lands in cinemas on Friday, 18 December 2026.
The new official art placed Beast alongside The Thing, Black Widow, Black Panther and Captain America, as reported by ComicBookMovie.com. It was the most detailed look at the character since Marvel started rolling out material for the film.
Doomsday has been stacked with returning faces from across Marvel’s back catalogue, which has made every piece of official art a puzzle for fans working out who is actually in it. Beast sitting in this batch answered one of the smaller questions.

Beast has barely featured in the trailers so far, and the likeliest reason is the workload.
A fully furred, blue, digitally enhanced character takes far longer to finish than a man in a suit, so studios tend to hold that footage back until the effects are locked.
The promo art sidestepped that problem entirely, since a still image does not need the same finishing work as a moving shot.
Fans got Beast in frame with four heavy hitters, which is a neat way of confirming he is properly in the mix rather than a background cameo.
How Kelsey Grammer got back into the MCU
Grammer first played Beast in the Fox X-Men films and returned to the role in the post-credits scene of 2023’s The Marvels, arriving through an alternate-universe storyline. He confirmed his MCU return before the Doomsday news cycle picked up speed.
That casting has sat quietly in the background for a while, which makes the promo art a useful reset for anyone who lost track.
Placing him next to Captain America and Black Panther in official material settled the question of whether he was actually in the film.
Andrew Garfield rules himself out of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
In the same news cycle, Andrew Garfield addressed the long-running rumours about his Spider-Man returning.
He stated firmly that he is not in Avengers: Doomsday, while leaving a sliver of room about films after it, which is the kind of non-denial that keeps a rumour alive.
Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is still expected to turn up in the film, and Garfield’s version is rumoured for the 2027 sequel Avengers: Secret Wars instead. Neither of those has been confirmed by Marvel, so treat both as chatter until the studio says otherwise.
More marketing is due before the December date, and the trailer that finally shows Beast in motion will be the one to watch. Swisher Post previously reported that Doomsday tickets went on sale in July 2026, a full five months early, so local listings have had time to settle.
