BTS launched its annual Festa celebrations on Monday, 1 June 2026, kicking off a 13th anniversary countdown that marks the group’s first full reunion since all seven members completed their mandatory South Korean military service.

The group debuted on 13 June 2013 under Big Hit Music, and Festa has since grown into one of the most anticipated events on the global pop calendar, marked by exclusive content drops, special performances and fan engagement events spread across several weeks.

As reported by Soompi, the 2026 edition officially began at midnight KST on 1 June with the release of an official anniversary timeline.

BTS Festa 2026 schedule: what fans can expect

The first major release arrives on Thursday, 4 June 2026, with the group’s annual family photo, a tradition fans treat as something of a State of BTS address each year.

A performance video for Hooligan, taken from the group’s fifth studio album ARIRANG, follows on Friday, 5 June 2026.

The calendar builds toward Friday, 12 June 2026, when BTS will release a limited-edition picture disc vinyl of ARIRANG, drop the official version of Come Over with an accompanying lyric video, and launch the Busan leg of the ARIRANG world tour with back-to-back concerts at Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

Why 2026 BTS Festa carries extra weight for fans

All seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, are now fully discharged and available for group activities, making this the first Festa where the full lineup is present since enlistments began in late 2022.

That alone has given the 2026 edition a reunion-era energy that earlier instalments, which relied on pre-recorded content and partial lineups, simply could not replicate.

ARIRANG, the fifth studio album, draws its title from a traditional Korean folk song and represents a deliberate return to cultural identity after years of English-language crossover releases.

The album has been received as a statement of intent: BTS returning on their own terms, in their own language, at full strength.

What the BTS ARMY is saying about Festa 2026

The hashtag #2026BTSFESTA trended worldwide on X within hours of the anniversary timeline dropping, with fan accounts coordinating streaming plans, charting campaigns and travel logistics for the Busan concerts.

The level of organised fan activity reflects just how much expectation has built over the three-year enlistment period.

The Busan Asiad Main Stadium dates are expected to draw international ARMY contingents from Asia, Europe and North America, marking one of the largest live music events on South Korean soil in 2026.

BTS has not yet released the full ARIRANG world tour schedule beyond Busan.

Additional dates covering other regions are expected to be announced in the weeks following the June 12 opening concerts.
